Located on the southwest coast of Lombok Island, Desert Point is considered one of the world’s most legendary lefts. Isolated and surrounded by untamed landscapes, this wave has become a true myth thanks to its length, consistency, and almost mechanical perfection.
Fast, hollow and demanding
The wave breaks over a shallow, well-defined reef, forming a long, fast, and extremely hollow left. On solid days, it’s possible to link multiple tubular sections into a single ride, demanding physical endurance, precision, and complete board control. The reef floor and the wave’s speed make it highly technical and challenging, reserved for experienced surfers.
