Capítulo Perfeito unveils first International Wildcard for historic Mozambique Edition

Cascais, February 24, 2026 – The 12th annual Capitulo Perfeito has officially announced Australian charger Ned Hart as the first international wildcard for the Mozambique event, currently holding a waiting period through March 30.

At just 19 years old, Hart joins previously confirmed local wildcards Junior and Mini Cho, who will fly the Mozambican flag at Praia da Barra — one of the country’s most iconic and powerful wave setups — in the first-ever global edition of Capitulo Perfeito, which will feature a €10,000 prize money by Cascais.

A rising force in heavy waters, Ned has built a reputation worldwide for his commitment to deep, critical barrels, traveling the globe in search of the heaviest and most unforgiving tubes. In 2023, at only 16, he claimed the “Young Gun” award at the Big Wave Challenge, announcing himself on the global stage as one of the most thrilling young talents in heavy-wave performance. His technical approach, composure in critical take-offs, and hunger for high-stakes barrels make him a natural fit for Capitulo Perfeito.

The international wildcard was selected in collaboration with Capitulo Perfeito’s global media partners — SURFER, STAB, TRACKS, and WAVES — who actively participated in the selection process.
